Fetching Feathers operates two state-of-the-art kennels focused on bird dog training for serious hunters. Founded by Anthony Ferro in Colorado with a franchised operation in Virginia under Lee Browne, they train German Shorthair Pointers, English Pointers, and other upland hunting dogs.

Their core philosophy is simple: training the dog is half the work; teaching the owner is the harder half. As they put it, "Our clients come to us as dog owners; they leave us as dog handlers."

Most trainers send your dog back with results. Fetching Feathers sends weekly training videos, bi-weekly detailed report cards breaking down progress and setbacks, and requires bi-weekly owner visits where you work hands-on with trainers. This isn't optional—it's built into every program.
