BAY 1: Biathlon

Biathlon pairs cross-country skiing or running with rifle shooting—you're racing against time and your own accuracy. Miss targets and you're adding penalty laps, so this tests endurance and marksmanship together in ways a static range never will.

This intermediate event at Routt County Rifle Club on May 31st puts you through the full cycle: ski or run a loop, hit targets downrange, repeat. It's the kind of competition that shows you how steady your hold stays when your heart's pounding and legs are burning.
