Biathlon at Routt County Rifle Club pairs cross-country skiing or running with precision rifle shooting—a legit test of both your cardio and trigger control under fatigue. You ski or run a course, stop to shoot at targets, and rack up penalty laps for misses. It's the kind of event that shows you what you're really made of when your heart's pounding and the sights won't settle down.
This is intermediate-level work. The format forces you to manage pace, breathing, and accuracy all at once. Routt County Rifle Club hosts this June 7th, 2026. It's a different animal from stationary range work.
