Biathlon at Routt County Rifle Club combines cross-country skiing or running with rifle marksmanship—you ski or run a course, stop at shooting stations, and fire at targets. Misses cost you penalty laps or added time, so your accuracy directly affects your score. It's a legit test of both endurance and trigger control under fatigue.
This July 5th event is intermediate-level competition. You'll see where your marksmanship holds up when your heart rate is up and your legs are tired. Routt County Rifle Club is running it, and their site has the specifics on course layout and scoring.
