Location details and information
Silver Bullet Shooting Range in Wheat Ridge combines a retail gun shop with an indoor range and a training program. The range floor is laid out across five lanes, shown on an interactive facility map.
The range accommodates rifle, pistol, and shotgun shooting. Permitted ammunition includes brass- or nickel-cased handgun and rifle rounds with lead projectiles — full metal jacket, hollow point, and exposed lead are all allowed — while steel-case, aluminum-case, tracer, incendiary, and armor-piercing rounds are not. For shotguns, lead birdshot, buckshot, and slug loads are permitted, but steel shot is not. Shooters may draw from a holster after a range officer reviews an empty-chamber draw for safety.
Silver Bullet teaches basic pistol, concealed carry, home defense, basic and tactical rifle, basic and tactical shotgun, and youth safety courses, along with private lessons. The retail side sells firearms, ammunition, and accessories, and accepts consignments, though the shop does not do firearm trades.
