Full description and what we offer
Sporting Arms Custom Grips was founded in 1998 by Gregory Warne in Costa Rica, carrying forward a legacy rooted in the firearms industry. Warne's expertise came from his background at Kimber of Oregon before he pursued his passion for grip-making using locally sourced hardwoods.
They specialize in premium cocobolo (rosewood) pistol grips for 1911, Browning Hi-Power, Ruger Vaquero, Single Six, and MKII/MKIII models. Each grip is individually crafted and one-of-a-kind.
- •Aesthetic Appeal — Natural luster and unique grain patterns make every grip visually distinctive.
- •Durability — Dense hardwood resists wear and damage over years of use.
- •Comfort — Smooth finish with natural oils provide secure grip, even during extended shooting.
- •Moisture Resistant — Natural oils prevent warping and cracking in humid environments.
Beyond standard production grips, they accept custom orders for both pistol and knife grips tailored to specific client needs. Contact Guiselle Samuels in the sales department.
