NRA Pistol Permit Class

This is the Connecticut pistol permit class you need to take before you can carry. It's an NRA-taught course covering state carry laws and defensive pistol fundamentals, ending with a written test and live-fire qualification you actually have to pass.

The class runs through classroom instruction on Connecticut's permit requirements and legal carry rules, then moves to the range for shooting proficiency. You'll need to demonstrate you can handle a handgun safely and hit what you're aiming at. Pass both parts and you're eligible to apply for your permit.
