NRA Pistol Permit Class

This is an NRA-certified pistol permit class that covers Connecticut carry law and gives you the certification needed to apply for your CCW permit. You'll need to pass both the classroom portion on state regulations and a live-fire shooting test to complete it.

The class runs through classroom instruction followed by live-fire proficiency testing at the range. You'll demonstrate safe handling and basic accuracy with your handgun to meet Connecticut's requirements. This is the standard path to getting legally armed carry in the state.
