Location details and information
Millstream Hunting Preserve offers guided upland bird hunts across varying terrain, with trails and fields ranging from level, clear ground to scooter-accessible paths for hunters with mobility needs. The preserve also runs wild game hunts on more than 2,000 acres of leased farmland, offering deer, duck, turkey, geese, rabbit and coyote hunts during Connecticut's hunting seasons.
Founded in 1996 by Don Favry, Millstream is a private preserve, so hunters do not need a Connecticut hunting license to hunt upland game there. Male and female guides work alongside the preserve's own dogs, and hunters may also bring their own. The grounds are handicap accessible.
