Full description and what we offer
Branchborough Taxidermy Studio was founded in August 2000 by Trina Pritchard in Kathleen, Florida. What started as a vision has grown into a full-service taxidermy operation handling everything from trophy mounts to complex restorations.
Trina serves as President of the Florida State Taxidermists Association and holds lifetime membership in the National Taxidermists Association (NTA)—credentials that matter when you're trusting someone with your most prized hunting memories.
They work with animals A-Z, including: - Big game (bears, deer, elk, etc.) - Birds of all species - Reptiles - Animals of any size from anywhere in the world
Whether you want a life-size mount or a shoulder mount, they handle it all with attention to anatomical accuracy and visual appeal.
Mount Your Trophy - Custom mounting in various poses - Competitive and reasonable pricing - Professional finishing that makes your trophy the focal point of any room
Mount Restoration - Restore damaged or aging mounts to original condition or better - Cape replacement (including fur capes with moth damage) - Antler rack restoration—if you wish you'd mounted those antlers instead of leaving them in the shed, they can help - Rack restoration and conditioning
Field Care Consultation - Guidance on proper trophy handling in the field - Tips on freezing and storing game before delivery - Advice specific to different species (birds, bears, etc.)
For Life-Size Mounts: Freeze your game as soon as possible. If you have a bear, skin it immediately, bag it in plastic, and freeze it. Do not roll the hide.
For Birds: Don't gut your bird or place it in a game pouch. Bring it to the studio immediately or freeze it in a plastic bag. Tuck the head under the wing and position it to keep feathers flat.
Proper field care directly affects the quality of your final mount. The better condition your trophy arrives in, the better the finished work.

Trina uses only the best-quality products available in the market, and customer satisfaction always comes first.
She's not just a taxidermist—she's an advocate for ethical hunting and environmental preservation. When you work with her, you're working with someone who respects the trophy as much as you do.
They've earned multiple awards for their work over the years, which speaks to both skill and consistency.
A successful hunt deserves more than just photos. A professional mount keeps the memory alive in vivid detail—the pose, the presence, the achievement. But it only works if the taxidermist has the skill and uses quality materials. Branchborough has both.
