Central Florida sits directly in the Southeast Flyway migration corridor, making it home to some of the most varied duck hunting in the United States. When cold fronts freeze northern states, ducks move into Florida's coasts, inland lakes, ponds, marshes, and flooded pastures—creating consistent opportunities for guided hunts.
Early season (Sept 20-24) focuses on teal and wood ducks. The main season runs November through January, and you can expect opportunities at:
Later season hunts bring additional migratory species as the winter progresses.
All hunts take place on public waters from fully equipped duck boats with comfortable seating, decoys, and blinds. Depending on water conditions, you may also hunt from layouts or wade in the water. Trips last 4 hours and include water and snacks.

Florida requires a Florida Hunting License, Florida Duck Stamp, Migratory Bird Permit, Federal Duck Stamp, and Wildlife Management Area stamp. Purchase these prior to your arrival at gooutdoorsflorida.com. (Exceptions apply for hunters 15 and under or over 65.)

Party shooting is prohibited. Lost or crippled birds count against your bag limit.
