Salt River Outfitters operates out of Crystal River under Captain Shawn Walker, who's been hunting Florida's central and west coast waterways for three decades. His approach is straightforward: don't book a hunt unless your guest gets real shooting opportunities.

All charter trips come with the boat, decoys, and rental guns. You bring your own ammo and gear, plus required licenses and stamps:

Charters depart from Pete's Pier in Crystal River, Florida's largest freshwater marina. Between trips you can grab food at nearby restaurants or explore local shops. The location sits near Three Sisters Springs and Kings Bay—bonus for wildlife spotting.
