Full description and what to expect
This is a CMP-sanctioned M1 Carbine match at Hernando Sportsman's Club—a chance to shoot a piece of American military history against other shooters who know their rifles. The M1 Carbine's compact, handy design and softer recoil make it different from full-size military rifles, and that matters for how you'll run the course.
The match brings intermediate shooters together for a day structured around vintage-military accuracy and handling. You'll be shooting period-correct or commercial-equivalent ammunition through a rifle that saw real service, which changes how you think about fundamentals. It's straightforward competition that rewards knowing your specific carbine.
