Norma Precision established its North American headquarters in the Savannah area and is now building a major manufacturing and distribution hub in Bryan County. The company invested $60 million in a 300,000-square-foot facility designed to serve hunting, sporting goods, military, and law enforcement markets across the United States and internationally.
Norma manufactures high-end small arms ammunition for three core markets:
The Bryan County facility consolidates Norma's manufacturing, assembly, and distribution operations. The company created 600 jobs with this expansion and transitioned its existing Chatham County workforce to the new location, offering current employees the option to transfer.
"This new facility offers Norma Precision a significant opportunity to expand our small arms ammunition manufacturing and distribution operations to meet our customer expectations in the United States and abroad." — Paul Lemke, CEO
Located in Bryan County—the fastest-growing county in Georgia and sixth-fastest in the nation—the facility provides strategic access to distribution networks and the Georgia Ports Authority. The expansion was supported by the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Development Authority of Bryan County, Georgia Power, and the state Department of Labor's Quick Start program.
Norma's growth in Georgia reflects the company's commitment to scaling production while maintaining the quality standards that define European ammunition manufacturing.
