Georgia Games is an Olympic-style multi-sport festival administered by the Georgia Sports Foundation. Known as the "People's Games," it's open to Georgians of all ages and skill levels—from competitive athletes to recreational shooters looking to test their skills.
The organization sanctions three shooting disciplines:
The BB Gun event runs annually in March at Carroll County 4H Extension in Carrollton, GA. Competition is divided by age: 9-10, 11-12, 13-15, and 16 & over, with boys and girls categories.
Format includes: - 25-question written test (counted toward overall score) - Competition follows Georgia 4-H rules with Georgia Games modifications - Registration: $25 (advanced), $30 (late fee after March 1st) - Out-of-state residents add $5 - Walk-up registration allowed - Targets supplied at the venue
Top-qualifying teams can earn invitations to Daisy Nationals. First-time qualifiers are prioritized—shooters who competed at Nationals the prior year are ineligible to team-qualify again.
Georgia Games operates 20+ sports including archery, cycling, diving, fencing, pickleball, swimming, track & field, weightlifting, and wrestling. The organization emphasizes sportsmanship through its Sport Ambassador program and annual Athlete of the Year awards.
