Hawaii Waikiki Gun Club has been operating since 1988, making it one of the most established shooting ranges in the islands. Located on Kalakaua Avenue in the heart of Waikiki, the facility serves a diverse clientele—locals, military personnel, mainland visitors, and international shooters from over 50 countries.
Most indoor ranges use steel plates with rubber to stop bullets, but those systems can deflect fragments back at shooters. Hawaii Waikiki invested in a Supertrap—a modern protective system using specially cut high-strength rubber that safely absorbs everything from .22 LR all the way to .50 caliber BMG rounds, even at point-blank range.
Their range stretches nearly 20 meters, the longest in Waikiki. The combination of distance and Supertrap technology means high-powered rifles and pistols can be fired without ricochet concerns.

Stay behind the marked safety line when not shooting. Keep rounds on your target—no cross-lane shots. Avoid rapid firing, one-handed, inverted, or awkward shooting positions. Photos are OK, but no video recording. If your firearm has an issue, step behind the yellow line and alert an instructor immediately.
