The Korells grew up hunting along the Payette River—the same country where they now hold exclusive guiding rights across IDFG units 32, 32a, and 39.
Chris started guiding young and bought Korell Outfitters in 1994. His brother Cody came on as head guide, and within the last decade, Chris's son Lafe and daughter Sydnee joined up. Four family members, 50+ years of combined experience.

They breed and train their own pack of Treeing Walker hounds. Multiple clients have taken Boone & Crockett trophies for both bear and cougar.
Korell Outfitters runs a forestry operation with 50+ years of experience—thinning, harvesting, and hauling timber on private lands plus USFS and IDOL contracts. Their equipment is part of the VIPR fire contract system.
