Pack trips for fishing, photography, and recreation access the same pristine country. Base Camp on Skull Creek sits about 3 hours from Lewiston or Kamiah.
The area was once home to William Moreland, "The Ridgerunner," who lived in a hollow cedar tree from 1942-1963 and became a local legend.
Elevation ranges from 2,000 to 7,000 feet, with most hunting between 3,000-6,000 feet. The terrain features virgin cedar groves, white pines, fir trees, and hundreds of fern varieties. The remote location means minimal hunting pressure in the backcountry.
"Sharing what we love so much that we do it for a living."
The Lolo Zone was historically known for one of the largest elk herds in the country, though the outfitter now focuses on the diverse species that thrive in this protected wilderness setting.
