Stealth Arms manufactures 100% American-made 1911 build kits, frames, parts, and specialized tooling from their facility in St. Marys, Ohio. Founded in 2012, they've grown from a small workshop into a full production operation where every component is machined in-house.

Their flagship product is the 1911 Platypus—a double-stack 1911 frame that accepts either Glock 17 or SIG P320 magazines. This isn't a standard 1911. The Platypus redesign gives you significantly higher capacity while maintaining the 1911 platform shooters know. You can build one from scratch or buy a completed pistol ($1,400).

Instead of buying an expensive milling machine to finish an 80% lower, Stealth Arms developed the 1911 Phantom Jig ($199.95). This precision-machined jig eliminates the need for a mill entirely. It's their most talked-about innovation—if you want to build an 80% 1911 without equipment, this is how.

They also offer the Classic Jig for builders who prefer traditional methods, plus replacement cutters for both models.
