Burley Trap League at Burley Trap Club

The Burley Trap League is a trap shooting competition held at Burley Trap Club. Trap shooting involves shooting clay targets thrown from a mechanical trap house. Shooters stand behind the firing line and attempt to break targets as they're launched into the air. This league format allows shooters to compete regularly throughout the season, with scores tracked across multiple events. Trap shooting requires precision, timing, and consistent technique. The sport accommodates shooters of various skill levels, from beginners developing fundamentals to experienced competitors refining their performance. Participants should arrive early to check in, sight in if needed, and review any league-specific procedures with range staff. Weather conditions typical for early April in Idaho should be considered when planning your visit.
