Burley Trap League at Burley Trap Club

The Burley Trap League is a trap shooting competition held at Burley Trap Club. Trap shooting involves shooting clay targets launched from a machine at various angles and distances. Participants shoot from a line behind the trap house, attempting to break targets as they fly away. This league format allows shooters to compete regularly throughout the season, tracking scores and results. Trap shooting requires precision, timing, and consistent technique. The event accommodates shooters of different skill levels, from beginners developing fundamentals to experienced competitors refining their performance. Participants should arrive with adequate ammunition, properly functioning equipment, and appropriate safety gear. The Burley Trap Club provides the trap machines and clay targets. Shooters compete individually, with results typically recorded for league standings. Weather conditions vary in April in Idaho, so dress accordingly for outdoor shooting.
