Burley Trap League at Burley Trap Club

The Burley Trap League is a trap shooting competition held at Burley Trap Club. Trap shooting involves shooting clay targets launched from a machine at ground level, with targets traveling away from the shooter. Participants shoot from five different stations in sequence, typically firing at 25 targets per round. This league format allows shooters to compete regularly throughout a season, tracking scores and comparing performance against other participants. Trap shooting requires precision, consistent technique, and familiarity with shotgun handling. The event accommodates shooters of various skill levels, from beginners developing fundamentals to experienced competitors refining their accuracy. Participants should arrive early to check in, review any league-specific procedures, and allow time to set up their equipment. Weather conditions typical for mid-April in Idaho should be considered when planning your visit.
