Full description and what to expect
This is a smallbore prone competition hosted by the Civilian Marksmanship Program at Central Kansas Gun Club. You'll be shooting from the prone position at distance, which strips away all the variables and puts the focus purely on trigger control and sight picture—this is where you find out how solid your fundamentals really are.
Competitors shoot under standardized conditions where wind, distance, and your position are constants. It's a straightforward test: get behind the rifle, manage your breathing, and execute clean shots. The prone format means no excuses about stance or support—just you and the sight.
