Full description and what to expect
A USPSA (United States Practical Shooting Association) sanctioned match hosted by Southeast Idaho Practical Shooters at their Idaho Falls facility. Competitors shoot timed stages designed to test accuracy, speed, and decision-making with handguns. Stages vary in setup and may include moving between positions, engaging targets at different distances, and negotiating obstacles. Matches typically run 3-5 hours depending on stage count and competitor turnout. Shooters are classified by skill level (from D-class beginner through M-class master), so you'll compete against others at similar experience levels. This is a practical shooting sport where technique and consistency matter more than raw speed. Arrive early for registration, safety briefing, and to walk stages before shooting begins. Spectators are welcome to observe from designated areas.
