Wednesday Night Steel, Cowboy Range at Unified Sportsmens Club

Wednesday Night Steel at Unified Sportsmens Club runs timed cowboy-action stages where you shoot single-action revolvers, lever rifles, and shotguns through Old West scenarios. It's SASS-style shooting that rewards accuracy and speed, and it's genuinely fun—you compete under a cowboy alias in period costume, which takes the competitive edge off and makes the whole thing feel like you're actually living the scenario instead of just punching paper.

Each match consists of multiple stages set up like saloon robberies, cattle rustling, or quick-draw situations. You move through each course of fire in sequence, and your time plus any misses determines your placement. It's the kind of shooting that keeps you sharp on fundamentals while letting you actually enjoy the sport with other people who show up because they love the Old West theme, not because they're chasing a trophy.
