Dura-Cast started in 1987 when Bruce Orcutt purchased a small rotational molding plastics company in Lake Wales, Florida. What began as a local operation serving agriculture has grown into a regional leader supplying agriculture, aquaculture, marine, food service, and refuse industries across the Southeast and internationally.
Bruce's son David joined in 1992, and together they expanded the company's reach into new verticals while maintaining the core focus on quality rotomolded plastic solutions. The company now operates 12 rotational molding machines and employs a dedicated design engineering team.
Dura-Cast manufactures across multiple product lines:
Agriculture Products - Livestock feeders: bull feeders, lick feeders, mineral feeders, post feeders, troughs - Citrus equipment: citrus tubs, elevator buckets - Storage tanks for farms, groves, and ranches - All agriculture products use FDA-approved polyethylene resin with UV-stabilizers for durability in harsh outdoor conditions
Aquaculture Products - Bait wells, bins, coolers, fresh water tanks, waste tanks, seats, and sumps for boating - Custom marine solutions for both residential and commercial fishing operations
Other Specialty Lines - Open top tanks, vertical tanks, cone bottom tanks in various sizes - Cooking oil recycling collector tanks (80, 125, 200, 275, or 325 gallon capacities) - Laundry and linen products engineered with input from facility managers - Material handling and bulk handling products - Refuse containers for municipalities throughout the Southeast - Transport, nursing, and stationary storage tanks for diverse contents
Dura-Cast operates an in-house custom solutions team. Their process:
1. Initial consultation - Your concept gets reviewed by Quality Control Manager, Lead Design Engineer, Mold Fabrication Manager, Production Manager, and Sales Manager 2. Design phase - Lead Engineer creates design and prototype, reviewed with you until approved 3. Mold fabrication - Stainless steel mold is built on-site 4. First Article inspection - Sample molded part tested against specifications 5. Production scheduling - Project runs on one of 12 rotational molding machines

Facility conforms to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 and NSF/ANSI 372 requirements. Many tank products can be molded using NSF-certified resins for food and water contact applications.
Warranty Coverage: - 90 days from shipment for custom products from customer-provided tooling - 1 year from manufacture for products designed by Dura-Cast engineers - Covers manufacturing defects in material and workmanship - Does not cover improper installation, abuse, accident, or neglect
