Extrude Hone is a contract manufacturing and equipment builder specializing in precision finishing of machined metal components. Founded in the late 1960s, the company now operates 320 employees across multiple global locations, including facilities in Pennsylvania, Illinois, California, the UK, France, Germany, Italy, India, China, and Japan. Madison Industries acquired the business from Kennametal in December 2015.

Extrude Hone builds machines and operates contract shops using three primary finishing processes:

• •Abrasive Flow Machining (AFM) - Polishing and deburring technology, including the VECTOR system (400+ machines in 22 countries)
• •Electrochemical Machining (ECM) - Deburring and edge radiusing, available in static or dynamic configurations
• •Thermal Deburring (TEM) - Pure deburring technology for metal parts, with the new T Series offering advanced process control
