Location details and information

Maier Pheasant Farm is a rustic 240-acre hunting preserve located in Bremen, Indiana, offering authentic upland game hunting experiences. Established in 1946 and operating as a hunting preserve since 1955, this facility combines decades of expertise with carefully managed game lands designed to replicate wild bird hunting conditions.

The farm specializes in three primary upland game species:

  • Pheasant Hunting - Fast-flying birds in natural field settings
  • Quail Hunting - Challenging wingshooting in varied terrain
  • Chukar Hunting - High-flying birds requiring precision marksmanship
  • European-Style Hunts - Traditional continental hunting experiences (seasonal)

The hunting areas feature natural terrain including: - Corn fields and sorghum plots - Wide fence rows and grassy areas - Five distinct hunting zones to accommodate groups of varying sizes

All birds are professionally released and represent strong flyers that will challenge hunters of all skill levels.

Each hunt includes professional guides and expertly trained hunting dogs, ensuring a safe and productive experience. Hunts are available in morning (8:30 a.m.) and afternoon (1:00 p.m.) sessions.
