Full description and what we offer
Located 10 miles south of Interstate 80 near Parnell, Legacy Acres Hunting Club operates on pristine upland hunting grounds designed around three core values: the hunt itself, the hunters, and the relationships built along the way.
They offer three main package tiers for the 2024-2025 season:
Overnighter — One full day of hunting plus half-day morning and evening hunts with one night lodging. Includes guide service options and bird cleaning available.
Vacationer — Two full days of hunting with morning and evening hunts across three nights of lodging.
Memory Maker — Three full days with morning and evening hunts, four nights lodging, and no limit bird hunts.
Half-day and full-day hunts also available for shorter trips. Iowa residents pay $300–$525 depending on length; non-residents pay $350–$575.
3-bird minimum release per visit.

Members receive 10% discounts on merchandise and lodging, plus off-season dog training access with reduced fees.
June through September, Legacy Acres runs dog conditioning camps that focus on field control, retrieving work, and bird work specific to breed type. Dogs are worked 1–3 times daily. Costs range from $800/month for single month enrollment to $600/month for 3–4 month commitments (10% member discount available). They provide dog food (Nutro) and administer heartworm, flea, and tick medicine. Owners can visit anytime to arrange training sessions.
Main Lodge — 10,000 sq ft, two-story facility built in 2020. Sleeps 34 with 16 bedrooms, each with private bathroom. Restrooms on both floors.
House — 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, sleeps 13. Renovated in 2019.
Clubhouse — Remodeled in 2018 for post-hunt gathering and gear storage.
Available April 1–September 14 for family reunions, graduations, weddings, corporate events, and receptions. The outdoor patio overlooks 300 acres with seating and two firepits. Call for pricing.
