WCSS runs a youth trap and sporting clays practice day at Warren County Izaak Walton League. Sporting clays teaches you to read different target angles and speeds across a walking course—think golf with a shotgun, where each station throws birds differently to build your gun handling and lead skills.
You'll move through multiple stations hitting 50-100 targets per round. This format forces you to adapt your footwork and swing to new presentations each time, which is exactly what builds solid shooting fundamentals that carry into the field.
