Montrose Tri-State Gun Club

Montrose Tri-State Gun Club is a full-service shooting facility in Montrose, Iowa, offering diverse ranges for trap, skeet, pistol, and rifle shooting. Located at 2308 280th Street, this member-supported club provides comprehensive shooting opportunities for hunters, sport shooters, and recreational marksmen of all skill levels.

The club maintains dedicated ranges for:

Montrose Tri-State Gun Club operates on a membership model. Annual dues are $60 per year (as of July 2022), providing full access to all ranges when not reserved. New members receive prorated dues with a $5 reduction per month. Members may bring guests who must complete a liability waiver; the sponsoring member is responsible for guest conduct.

Friend of the Board (FOB) fees are $29 annually.

The club provides clay targets at competitive rates (currently $0.24 each as of January 2023). Well-maintained facilities, grounds, and buildings are supported by member dues, with the Board reviewing pricing annually to ensure quality range maintenance.

All shooters must practice responsible firearm handling. Vehicles are prohibited on grassy and dirt areas of the ranges to protect target areas and facilities.
