Full description and what we offer
DeCou Studio is a custom art and woodworking studio located in rural Chase County, Kansas, near Cottonwood Falls and Tallgrass National Park in the Kansas Flinthills.
The studio operates as a commission-based fine art furniture and specialty items workshop, not as a firearms dealer, gunsmith, range, or shooting-related business.
Mark DeCou creates:
DeCou draws inspiration from Sam Maloof and George Nakashima, with work spanning Arts & Crafts mission style, Western and rustic design, Maloof-inspired pieces, and Nakashima-inspired work.
Contact via email at [email protected]. Most work is custom commissioned; DeCou discusses specific client needs and provides quotes. Payment typically involves 50% down for long-term projects with progress payments as needed. Personal checks are accepted, or PayPal for smaller transactions.
While DeCou creates powder horns decorated with scrimshaw as a historical/craft interest (stemming from a personal black powder shooting hobby), the business is primarily a fine art woodworking studio. It is not a firearms retailer, gunsmith, range, manufacturer, or shooting-focused business.
