All Species Taxidermy operates a full-time studio in Ponchatoula with a simple philosophy: balance price and quality to match what sportsmen actually need. Over 15 years, they've learned that hunters want mounts that look good on the wall, last for decades, won't drain the bank account, and get back to them quickly.

• •Gameheads - Whitetail, mule deer, elk, moose, and exotics including aoudad sheep, axis, bighorn sheep, and African species. Shoulder mounts start at $750 for standard whitetail and go up to $2,600 for moose.

• •Alligators - Their specialty. Full-body mounts priced per foot ($650-$950/ft depending on size), plus heads, shoulder mounts, skin and head rugs, and European skull mounts in sizes up to 12+ feet.

• •Waterfowl & Upland Birds - Puddle ducks ($350), geese ($575-$675), pheasants and grouse ($450), plus turkey mounts in multiple poses from standing to strutting ($850-$1,250).

• •Fish - Bass, redfish, speckled trout, and crappie priced per inch ($20-$29), with a $225 minimum charge. Snakes also available.

• •Small Mammals - Bobcat, fox, coyote, otter, beaver, raccoon, and more. Closed-mouth mounts start around $950; open-mouth adds $135.

Whatever your need—a few mounts for the camp, presentation pieces that match your home's interior, a glass case for the office, or multi-mount showroom displays—they'll work with your budget.

Custom bases and habitat displays available. Panel options include birch fiber, walnut, barnwood, and European cypress ($25-$105). They also offer tanning services for hides.

Their website includes detailed field care instructions because specimen quality determines mount quality. Keep everything cold, dry, and clean until delivery. Decomposition in south Louisiana can start within an hour—get it on ice immediately. Proper freezing and packaging matters for longer storage.
