Buck Fever Taxidermy operates from a 3,200 sq. ft. facility with a 620 sq. ft. showroom at 3083 Highway 65 North (Great River Road) in Newellton. Glenn and Melissa have been producing quality mounts since the operation started, handling everything from standard pieces to fully customized work.

Custom and standard mounts across the full range:

• •Shoulder mounts – Whitetail deer starting at $600, specialty forms at $675, trophy species like elk at $1,400
• •Life-size mounts – Whitetail starts at $3,500; bobcat, fox, coyote, and other game animals available
• •Habitat scenes – They build environments from swamp to rocks and can add drama and custom bases (extra charge)
• •Specialty work – Bird mounts (ducks, geese, turkeys), fish (skin and reproduction), reptiles, and skulls
• •Repair work – Antler repair, restoration of mounts from other facilities

Turnaround time depends on yearly workload but seldom exceeds a year. Deposits required before work begins. Hand-sewn bears (not hot glued), custom grooming and aggressive poses available. They no longer accept flat tanning or damaged pieces (rotten gator skulls, stinking beaver).
