Weekend Match Schedule: - 1st Saturday: Firecracker 300 BR Match (25 meters and 50 yard distances, 100 shot cards) - 2nd Saturday: Field Target Match (AAFTA sanctioned) - 3rd Saturday: 25 meter Benchrest Match (.177 and .22 calibers, 25 shot cards)
Weekday Match Schedule: - 1st Wednesday: Paper Match (5 events at 10m, 20 yards, and 25 yards) - 2nd Wednesday: 10m "Critter" Match (animal silhouette targets) - 3rd Wednesday: Jambalaya Match (50 yards, 20 yards, and pistol events) - 4th Wednesday: Rotating match formats
The 2026 Cajun Spring Classic (March 27-29) is an AAFTA Field Target Grand Prix event featuring pistol, rifle, and benchrest competitions across multiple courses and distances.
Since 1989, Bayou Airgun Club has hosted multiple National Championships and remains the only dedicated field target venue of its kind globally. The facility has welcomed competitors from across the United States and Great Britain, earning recognition as a cornerstone of competitive airgun sports.
Membership is required to participate in club activities. Annual membership is available for $60.00.
