Eagle Lake Sporting Camps partners with OMM Outfitters, an award-winning licensed guide service, to run all hunting operations. OMM specializes in trophy big game hunts tailored to your skill level, with experienced guides accessing prime hunting locations across Maine's North Woods.

Big Game Hunts

• •Bull Moose (Auction Tag) – $38,995/person includes permit, tag, guiding, game recovery, and 6 nights American Plan. Zones 2, 3 & 6. Additional observers $1,000.
• •Bull Moose (Guaranteed Over-the-Counter) – $28,900 + 9% tax + $1,500 tag fee. Full guiding, game recovery, American Plan lodging. Zones 2, 3 & 6.
• •Moose Lottery Winners Recreation Hunt – $12,000/person for lottery winners. 2-night American Plan, expert guide, game recovery. Additional observers $1,500.
• •Black Bear (Over Bait) – $3,150/person. 3–5 days hunting, 6 nights lodging, meals. Late August availability.
• •Black Bear (Hound Hunt) – $4,500/person. October hunts, same accommodations as bait hunts.

Upland & Waterfowl

• •Fall Waterfowl & Grouse Package – $2,495/person (double occupancy). Three nights lodging, meals, two days of guided goose, grouse, or duck hunting across farm fields, thoroughfare, and timber.
• •General Hunting Rate – $300/person per night (Sept–Nov 15). Includes lakeside cabin, three meals daily, small boat access.

Eagle Lake operates 13 total cabins:

All cabins sit on the lakefront with direct access to Eagle Lake. Generators provide morning and evening power. WiFi, VOIP, and satellite phone available.

Eagle Lake sits 23 miles deep in Maine's North Woods via privately maintained gravel roads. Seasonal conditions affect road access—spring thaw and fall rains can create muddy or temporarily impassable conditions.

Travel Options: - 4WD Vehicle – Strongly recommended, essential in wet/muddy conditions. Call 207-444-5108 ext. 3 from Caribou to confirm road status. - Float Plane – Available for scenic aerial arrival with stunning forest and lake views. - Charter Flights – Arrange charter service from major eastern cities to Presque Isle Airport (1.5 hours from camps). United Jet from Newark reaches Presque Isle in 2 hours. - Airport Transport – $150/person round-trip from Presque Isle Airport.

• •Important: Cell service is limited beyond Caribou. GPS/mobile navigation alone is unreliable. Plan your route in advance.

While hunting is primary, the camps offer complementary activities: - Landlocked salmon (up to 13 lbs) and trout (up to 6 lbs) fishing on Eagle Lake and Square Lake Thoroughfare - Birdwatching tours (May 15–June 30, from $1,200/person for 3-night packages) - Pontoon boat tours and rentals - Kayaking and small boat exploration
