Sporting clays at Monument Beach is a 50-target round that walks you through varied station setups, each throwing different angles and speeds to keep you honest. It's the closest thing to hunting without birds flying overhead—targets come at you like crossing pheasants, flushing grouse, and incoming doves from different distances and flight paths.
You'll move between five stations, engaging targets in pairs and singles. The course covers mixed terrain, and every station presents a different problem to solve. This format teaches you to adjust your lead, timing, and foot position on the fly—practical skills that carry straight into the field.
