The Atlantic flyway funnels significant populations of Common Eider, Old Squaw, and all three Scoter species through the region's bays, estuaries, and open water—birds that migrate from breeding grounds in Labrador, Nova Scotia, and the Bay of Fundy.

The unique geography of southern New England means prime waterfowl habitat sits within short drives from the lodge. Most hunting areas see minimal pressure throughout the season, and boat launches keep travel time low while maximizing hunting hours.

Captain Jeremiah Brooks operates as a fully licensed 100 Ton Near Coastal USCG Captain, prioritizing safety and comfort as prerequisites for success.
