Boy Scouts shooting at Ashaway Sportsman's Club gives young shooters their first real introduction to safe firearm handling and marksmanship under structured instruction. It's foundational work—building competence and confidence with a .22 before anything else.
Kids work with trained adults in a controlled range environment focused on the basics: stance, grip, sight picture, trigger control. Close supervision means each shooter gets real feedback on what they're doing right or wrong. This is where you either build a solid foundation or pick up bad habits that stick around.
