Full description and what to expect
Cub Scouts shooting sports instruction at Franklin Rod & Gun Club—a structured introduction to firearms safety and marksmanship for young scouts working toward merit badges and rank advancement. BSA-certified instructors run the session with safety as the foundation, teaching proper handling and shooting fundamentals in a controlled environment.
Scouts work through skill progressions and safety drills under direct adult supervision. This is hands-on training tied to the scout advancement program, not a casual range day. Parental permission required for all participants.
