Millers Falls Rod & Gun Club was incorporated in 1953 and has been a fixture of the western Massachusetts hunting and shooting community ever since. Located at 210R Turners Falls Road in Montague, the club maintains three distinct shooting facilities and hosts dozens of public events throughout the year.
The club operates:
- •20-station shotgun range – bird shot only, used for turkey shoots
- •100-yard rifle and handgun range – for precision rifle work
- •10-station pistol range – dedicated handgun shooting
Shooting hours are dawn to dusk. Check the online calendar before you visit—ranges close during events and rentals.

Out-of-state police, sheriffs, and Massachusetts Environmental Police get 50% discount on associate membership (Jan 1–Dec 31).
Associate members can bring guests, but each guest is limited to one visit. No alcohol allowed on premises at any time.
The club runs turkey shoots from September through the weekend before Thanksgiving. Shooters compete for $3 per round at 20 stations, with winners taking home free frozen turkeys. Breakfast is served—arrival at 10 AM, shoots continue until the line ends. The club does not shoot live turkeys. Annual proceeds benefit the local K9 unit.
Other yearly events include:
- •Annual Clambake (August) – $65 for full bake with lobster, clams, chicken, and sides; chicken-only option $18

- •Critters & Crustaceans – meat and seafood dinner

Fully licensed bar, open 7 days a week (when a full member is present). Cash bar only, no outside alcohol allowed.
The club rents to the public for weddings, corporate events, family gatherings, and other occasions. Both rentals include a bartender and catering options at reasonable rates.

No vehicles on fields or ranges. Courtesy required. Members have priority over associates. Shooting between dawn and dusk only. Stop using bottles, cans, fruit, firewood, or non-paper targets—this is not optional.
