The Carl T. Johnson Hunting & Fishing Center is one of only seven MDNR Visitors Centers in Michigan, located between Lakes Cadillac and Mitchell.
The region sits on the Mississippi Flyway for waterfowl migration and offers extensive access to public hunting land—a primary draw for out-of-state hunters. The Cadillac area boasts some of Northern Michigan's best whitetail deer populations and is known for both rifle and bow hunting seasons.
