D+M Metal Products started in 1946 when Davis and Moelker founded the company with experience in metal forming. After Moelker left, Davis ran the operation for 30 years until Dale Buist purchased it in 1977 with just 8 employees working in an 8,000 square foot space.
That small operation became the foundation for what's now a 58,000 square foot facility serving manufacturers across West Michigan and beyond. The company invested early in technology—buying their first Amada CNC Turret and computer in 1981, a Cincinnati Laser System in 1992, and continuously upgrading equipment through today.
D+M handles the complete fabrication process:
| Service | Details |

| Laser cutting | High-precision cuts on various metals |
| CNC machining | Precision parts with tight tolerances |
| Grinding | Edge removal and surface smoothing |
| Vibratory finishing | Removes sharp edges using abrasive pellets |
