Muzzy Pheasant Farm is a family-owned working farm in Shiawassee County offering hunting opportunities for solo hunters, families, corporate groups, and youth. Located between Flint and Lansing, just minutes from Saginaw and Genesee counties, the preserve is open year-round seven days a week by appointment from 8am to dusk.
No hunting license required for small game. Shotguns only—nothing larger than 6 shot, no high brass ammunition. Hunter orange required on head, front, and back.
Guides and dogs are available for ground hunts, or bring your own (must be under control). Pheasants, chukars, and pigeons available. Zero tolerance policy for alcohol and drugs before and during hunts or training.
Dog training memberships include: - One-hour field sessions by appointment - Access March–December - Up to 20 scratch birds at no charge - Discounted pricing on pheasants, chukars, pigeons - Private lessons available
New members must complete an orientation meeting with Joe, sign an insurance waiver, and review training rules.
