Hunters 4 Hunters

Hunters 4 Hunters (H4H) is a coalition of hunters, landowners, and farmers based in Zimmerman, Minnesota, united around a single mission: protecting hunting rights and proper wildlife management for future generations.

This isn't a hunting club in the traditional sense. H4H is a 501(c)(4) advocacy organization that gives Minnesota hunters a unified voice at the state capitol. Founded by people frustrated with 15+ years of poor wildlife management decisions made by distant policymakers, H4H has captured the attention of national leaders and state officials.

H4H focuses on three core activities:

• •Wildlife Management Advocacy - Pushing for responsible wolf population management, including efforts to delist wolves from the Endangered Species Act and implement hunting/trapping seasons
• •Policy Action - Drafting letters to state government, meeting with Minnesota DNR and USDA officials, and holding elected representatives accountable
• •Member Education - Publishing detailed articles on wolf management plans, ecosystem balance, predator-prey relationships, and hunting policy

Wolf population mismanagement has decimated Minnesota's deer herds. Hunters report drastically declining harvest opportunities. Landowners face pressure from predators. Farmers worry about livestock. H4H exists because the people actually living this reality weren't being heard by policymakers in St. Paul.

The board includes hunters with serious credentials: Dillan Porter (president, 17 years studying whitetail behavior), Dale Irish (50+ years deer hunting), Steve Porter (law enforcement background, deer farm operator), and representatives from the commercial fishing industry and real estate sector. H4H maintains regional representatives across Minnesota—Western Plains, Twin Cities, Mille Lacs, Northeast, and Great Plains regions.

Membership Plans start at the Single Deer Plan and scale up to family options (Buck and Doe Plan, Whole Herd Plan) or Lifetime Membership ($500, one-time payment). All memberships include: - H4H window decal - Event attendance - Forum access - Direct voice in state capitol advocacy

Volunteer opportunities include joining committees, becoming a regional representative (members only), or helping with wolf tracking efforts across the state.
