Monticello Sportsmen Club is running a public trap shoot on June 10, 2026—a straightforward way to practice hitting clay targets in a competitive format without needing to join a league. You'll shoot from five stations, breaking 25 targets per round in the classic trap discipline where birds fly away from you at different angles.
This is fundamentals work: footwork, lead, and follow-through matter more than speed or tricks. Show up, pay the entry fee, and shoot against the clock and the birds. Good day to see how you stack up and dial in your shooting before summer gets going.
