The club operates dedicated shooting ranges with proper impact backstops and target holders to ensure safe, responsible shooting. Members enjoy access to: - Indoor and outdoor ranges with prepared firing positions - Target stands and holders provided for safe shooting - Organized events and competitions throughout the year - Community events bringing together local shooters - Educational programs covering firearms safety and marksmanship
Northwoods operates as a membership-based club. Annual membership dues are affordable: - Single Membership: $45/year - Family Membership: $60/year - Membership year runs January 1 – December 31
Prospective members must meet state and federal licensing requirements, including proof of a current hunting license and hunter education certificate if applicable. Applications are reviewed and approved by club membership at regular monthly meetings.
Members can engage in target shooting with rifles and pistols in controlled, supervised environments. The facility emphasizes proper technique and safety through organized educational activities and community-led instruction.
With regular meetings held the second Tuesday of each month, Northwoods fosters an active, supportive community. Members have opportunities to participate in committees, help organize events, and contribute to the club's continued success. The club welcomes guests, though non-members must be accompanied by members during visits.
