Pipestone Sportsmen's Club is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded by volunteer sportsmen and sportswomen in 2023 in Southwest Minnesota, opening for public shooting in 2024. The property has a 25 yard pistol bay with a cement shooting pad and benches, a 100 yard rifle and shotgun bay, and a shotgun clay range. Shooting is open to members and day pass holders only when a range officer is on duty.
The club has worked on a trap shooting area, adding a voice activated clay pigeon thrower and shot stop curtains, and berm work for the 100 yard rifle bay. Three local high schools and 4-H plan to use the range for shooting sports competitions. The club has hosted a fall open house for kids, families and adults, and plans kids hunter safety courses, permit to carry classes, and pistol, rifle and trap leagues.
