Hunting Sports Plus has operated since 1989 with a model that separates it from standard hunting clubs and lease brokers. Instead of leasing a single property shared among multiple members simultaneously, HSP leases hundreds of individual properties across five states. Members reserve the land they want through an online system or by phone—ensuring you hunt alone when you book it.

This matters because the math is straightforward: 100-200 acres per active member minimum. If 2,000 members are in the club, HSP maintains 200,000-400,000 acres of huntable ground. That's not marketing speak—it's their stated standard.

Members access a state-of-the-art online reservation system 24/7/365. Log in, browse properties in your target state or county, read harvest reports from other members who've hunted there, and reserve exclusive use for your chosen dates. No seniority system. No favoritism. First-come, first-served access.

Game types include deer, turkey, waterfowl, upland birds (quail, pheasant), and fishing opportunities.

With a typical outfitter, you pay significant money for someone to scout, guide, and direct your hunt. You sit where they tell you to sit for the time they allocate. You do the shooting and pay the bill.

With HSP, you pay annual dues once. You do the scouting, hunting, and decision-making. You access the harvested game data from other members—harvest reports updated by users who've been on specific properties—to pick land that's producing what you're looking for. This isn't hand-holding. It's the hunt itself.

Dependents (spouse and dependent children) hunt with you on unlimited days with no guest fees on standard land. On fee land, a small daily charge applies. Non-dependent guests can visit up to three days per 12-month period, or you can purchase guest memberships for half the regular membership price and bring a different guest each trip with no additional fees.

Every property in the club receives a full-page profile in printed mapbooks distributed to members. Details include:

• •Habitat type and hunting quality rating

After hunting, members submit harvest reports within two days detailing:

Successful hunters use these reports extensively to avoid disappointing trips and pick productive land. It's member intelligence, not marketing hype.

Most HSP land practices Quality Deer Management. Some farms enforce size restrictions on harvested deer. The club also supports first-time hunters and youth in harvesting smaller game to ensure success and excitement—everyone starts somewhere.

HSP rejects applicants who are convicted felons, have serious or multiple wildlife violations, or don't meet the club's standard for safe, ethical hunting behavior. The member matters more than the money.

Club rules can only change if a majority of voting members approve. Management enforces rules but doesn't unilaterally change them. Members elect their leadership through voting. If you join knowing the rules fit your needs, you're protected from arbitrary changes.

Members can openly advertise and sell their memberships if they no longer need them—no blacklist from the club, though advertisements can't be posted on official HSP pages.

Unlike timeshare systems that assign you one property at one preset time each year, HSP works like a hotel reservation system. You make unlimited reservations on any available farm within club rules. Want to hunt a different property next month? Different county? Different state? Book it.
