Swiss Products USA started in 1999 when Pierre St. Marie and Jack Sturgess formed a partnership in Kalispell. Pierre designed concepts for K31 accessories, Jack built the prototypes, and the designs were field-tested at the SP Range. A Montana handshake sealed the deal. What began as a retirement business grew well beyond expectations.
"Their premise was to design and produce accessories for the Swiss Rifles that facilitated pure enjoyment of the shooters."
Jack has since passed, and Pierre St. Marie continues the Swiss Products line with his family.
Swiss Rifle Accessories - Swiss Products specializes in K31s, 1911 series rifles, Alpine Sporters, and other Swiss military rifles. Every accessory is designed to work without permanent modification to the rifle.
Swiss Products engineered their P/S diopter because the originals—made by cottage industries in Switzerland and Germany—had real problems. The original design exposed interior components to dirt when traversed to maximum windage, the matrix cocked itself off true horizontal, and achieving proper axis alignment required starting with left windage settings.
Swiss Products completely redesigned the interior mechanics to solve all of that. The Type P/S gained approval from Swiss SSV for sanctioned matches worldwide and includes 1,000-yard capability. Now, with their new Adjustable Front Sight, even older Type P and P II diopters can reach 1,000 yards.

During the 1970s-80s, Golden State Arms and Santa Fe Arms imported Swiss military rifles (Mod. 1889, G11, Kar.11) and converted them to .308 Winchester and 30/30, creating the "Alpine Sporter." Swiss Products developed a full line of accessories for these rifles, including their SP replacement scope mount that accommodates both three-hole and five-hole bent scope mount variations—machined from steel, blued, and finely finished.
